Job Information

Monday through Friday 8:00-4:30. This position offers clinical supervision. The office location will be in Lodi and the facility is in Galt.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet with all clients on caseload at least once per week and additional sessions as needed based on clinical assessment of clients need.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on Department of Healthcare standards, clinical experience, and knowledge.
  • Facilitate weekly Group Therapy sessions with assigned facility.
  • Complete progress notes for all assigned clients based on individual sessions, group sessions, crisis intervention, as well as any interaction warranting clinical intervention.
  • Gather information about community mental health needs and resources that could be used in conjunction with therapy.
  • Maintains appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Participates in internal and external organization meetings and trainings as directed by the Clinical Director and/or CEO.
  • Maintains an awareness of applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements as they relate to client documentation; Mandate reporting when applicable to APS/PD
  • Assumes accountability for providing appropriate documentation of all therapy/counseling sessions, significant incident occurrences, phone conversations, etc. consistent with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of client files with assurance that all needed releases of information and other paperwork are present in the file and up to date. Promptly requests new or additional information and paperwork.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree-Masters in Marriage Family Therapy and or Masters of science in social work.
  • Medi-Cal Billing experience required/preferred
  • Must be registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an AMFT and/or ACSW.
  • Minimum one year of experience providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services to a full range of individuals from youth through adulthood
