Job Information

Birth to age 8 Mental Health Specialist who is passionate about providing treatment to our youngest children and their families with respect, clinical excellence, and an ongoing commitment to cultural humility.  The specialist will use a relationship based model to provide parent-infant mental health services primarily in Oakland but throughout Alameda County.  As part of a multidisciplinary team, the specialist will work closely with a child development specialist and family partner to conduct observations and therapy in the child’s home, preschool, or at our east bay offices.  REMOTE DURING COVID.


  • Fluency in Spanish
  • ASW or AMFT
  • Experience in early childhood mental health or early childhood education

  • Earn 28 days of ETO (PTO) annually for the first three years; 33 days of ETO annually four plus years
  • Holidays – Approx. 15-17 days per year
  • 7.5 hour work days (37.5 per week)

  • Pay 85 – 100% of employee medical insurance premium depending on what plan
