Job Information

The Program Manager is the management of the day-to-day operations of the program with and agency that serves vulnerable, at risk youth, adolescents and TAY. This includes all related activities such as supervision of all staff, volunteers and interns; staff training and evaluation, development and implementation of program services; grants management and management of the program budget. This position is also responsible for participating in agency middle management protocols. This position requires comfort in working in a Harm Reduction model with clients who are actively using.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field strongly preferred; can be substituted for relevant experience
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
  • Three to five years’ experience working with youth and/or adults with co-occurring behavioral health and substance use needs
  • Experience managing a residential program. Extensive hours required, possible late nights and weekend hours
  • Prior experience working within a Harm Reduction based program with clients that are actively using
  • Supervisory experience in a Harm Reduction based program preferred
  • Experience working with LGBT youth
  • Working knowledge of issues facing homeless and/or at-risk youth and young adults required
  • Knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention and experience working with individuals living with HIV

Position requires participating in an on call rotation
