| Job Information | The Manager of Substance Use and Recovery Services is responsible for overseeing the Center’s programming for LGBTQ people seeking to explore, reduce and/or stop their use of substances, specifically tobacco, alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, opiates and crystal methamphetamine. Services include Medically Assisted Treatment, Intensive Outpatient Program, Evening Outpatient Program, and the distribution of Fentanyl testing strips. These services are grounded in harm reduction and seek to eliminate the stigma associated with substance use. The Manager is responsible for providing administrative and clinical supervision to staff and interns providing substance use and recovery services. The Manager ensures that substance use programming is high quality, innovative and responsive to the needs of the LGBTQIA community. The Manager oversees private and public grants funding substance use programming and is responsible for actively seeking additional funding to sustain/expand services. QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of or experience working with the LGBTQ community and familiarity with issues of particular relevance to LGBTQ people 3 years experience providing substance use treatment services 2 years of experience providing substance use clinical services 2 years experience as a California  licensed clinician-manager |
