Job: DBT Therapist

We are recruiting for a direct hire, part time position for a DBT Agency. Hours are flexible, can include weekends or evenings, weekly mandatory meeting is Monday 11AM – 1PM. 2/3 – 3/4 of the job is clinical, this is inclusive of 1:1 and groups, 1/4 to 1/3 is admin which is trainings and meetings. Admin work is paid at $20/ hour and clinical is paid at 55% of billing so the pay would be about $70 – $115/ hour. The offices are all remote right now but the plan is to return to the offices in Saratoga and West San Jose at some point.  Clinical supervision can be offered.

Our client is a Linehan Board of Certification Certified DBT Program, meaning they do DBT ‘by the book’. They are well respected in the community for providing high quality outpatient treatment to clients struggling with emotion dysregulation, as well as for offering DBT skills groups for clients and their families, family therapy, and therapist training.
The team consists of highly trained DBT clinicians, including two certified with the Linehan Board of Certification. We meet weekly for consultation team and enjoy a collaborative team environment.

We are looking for a part or full time Therapist to provide comprehensive DBT treatment to adolescents and/or adults. This Therapist will be asked to see approximately 8-10 individual DBT clients and co-lead up to three DBT skills groups per week. You will also be required to provide skills coaching to clients, attend consultation team weekly, and complete relevant client notes and billing tasks. You may also be asked to attend trainings, participate in marketing activities, or other administrative tasks.

We are looking for ASW/ AMFT/ MFT/ LCSW, preference is for licensed, who bring a passion for working with clients other therapists might label ‘challenging’.
