Regional Director of Programs
The San Francisco Supportive Services Regional Director, is an energetic, collaborative and results-oriented leader who will manage San Francisco Supportive Service Programs, a Rapid Rehousing and case management program serving homeless TAY youth, age 18-26 – permanent supportive housing sites supporting TAY directly onsite, and Independent Living Skills Program (ILSP)- a supportive service program for 16-21-year-old transition- age foster youth. The Regional Director is responsible for overseeing programs and ensuring effective staff supervision and program implementation according to agency established policies and procedures. The Regional Director will monitor outcomes, safeguard retention of youth in housing, mediate youth conflicts and supervise a SF TAY Program Manager and the ILSP Manager. The Regional Director reports to the Vice President of Programs. This position requires sound judgment in the face of complex challenges, and a proven track record of accomplishment of managing direct service teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• MA/MSW required.
• A minimum of Five years of supervisory/managements experience with three of those in a team management role; relevant leadership experience may be considered
• At least 5 years’ experience working with underserved and disadvantaged youth, preferably homeless youth populations
• Excellent understanding of homeless youth services and resources, including education and employment resources for youth as well as awareness of other services for young adults and young parents.
