Title Intake Specialist

The program provides transition-aged youth with housing and support services as they seek to obtain stable and secure housing and employment. Using a relational approach, the Intake Specialist will provide direct services to residents, and play an instrumental role in supporting the program through a period of development. Reporting to the Transitions Manager, the Intake Specialist will guide incoming residents through the intake process and support their transition into the program, as well as, collaborate with the larger Transitions Team in setting up residents for success as they exit.

The Intake Specialist will work full-time during standard business hours, Monday-Friday and weekends and evenings as necessary. While based out of a downtown office, the Intake Specialist will also work remotely on occasion from housing sites across LA County.

MSW or MA needed, 2 years post grad school experience required. This is a full time temporary position available while the agency recruits.

Position is split half in Compton and the other half in Huntington Park. $26 – $28/ hour. Candidate must be Spanish speaking and must be registered with the BBS and must have demonstrated clinical case management experience with dual diagnosed adults, strong MH background required.

We are seeking a FT Spanish speaking Senior Therapist to join our Central Valley health and wellness team to be based at our wellness center.  This role will serve as an integral part of our onsite primary care team, responsible for helping patients improve their physical and mental health. This role is responsible for coordinating and supporting mental health and social care within the clinic and for coordinating referrals to clinically indicated mental health and social services outside the clinic.  This person will also work at three charter schools in the area from time to time providing therapy to children.  Clinical supervision offered to AMFT by a MFT.   Relocation assistance is offered.
