Job Information

The Program Director is responsible for overall programmatic operations of organization and assure agreed upon delivery of support services.

QUALIFICATIONS

B.A. in Psychology or related field (M.A. Preferred) or 4 years experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities.

Experience:

4 years direct support experience with people with behavior challenges, medical involvement or psychiatric diagnosis.

2 years experience coordinating services for people with developmental disabilities  (QMRP, IPC, Community Service Coordinator) preferred

3 years experience in a Supervisory position preferred

PRIMARY DUTIES:

·         Supervise, counsel and train Coordinators.

·         Assure management of all labor including pro active hiring and training associated with delivery of quality of service.

·         Manage labor to minimize overtime to assure fiscal responsibility.

·         Assure that Coordinators and Support Coaches are trained and capable of providing the individuals served with assistance in all aspects of their daily living and that they receive supports in all areas needed to live a full active life of their choice.

·         Assure that the individuals served receive supports in all areas needed to live a full active life of their choice.

·         Assure that Coordinators are executing implementation and follow through on all aspects of the IPP (Individual Program Plan) for people served.

·         Assure that Coordinators are providing advice, guidance and support to individuals regarding personal issues and life choices.

·         Complete Supported Living Assessment when in receipt of referral.

·         Assist President/CEO in development of Capitol and Operational Budgets.

·         Assist in development of Strategic Plan.

·         Responsible for assuring that people served are happy with their services and receiving all provisions as agreed in their IPP.

·         Responsible for on going Quality Audits and interviews.

·         Provide training and consultation to all staff.

·         Provide immediate on-site response in emergencies.

·         Communicate with Regional Center representatives, Parents/Guardians at a frequency desired by the respective individuals.

·         Attend Individual Program Plan and interim meetings as needed.

50% – 75% of this position is community based throughout Sonoma, Solano and Napa counties.  25% of the time is spent in the Napa office.
